For those wondering how I get these nice little research summaries, subscribe to NEJM's Journal Watch [EDIT: I thought it was for free, but I think it might require a .edu address 😳] and get these in your email every morning. I've been subscribed for 4 years now and love that I'm alerted to freshly published studies with well-written summaries. If I feel compelled.. then I can find the original paper and read it myself 🤓•
There's many confounding variables in these 2 large studies, but it's pretty great to recognize at least no blaring negative relationship between coffee intake and mortality.. and likely a benefit! Drink UP if you're into it ☕️•
